Buccaneers Questions for Tony McGee

Please post after the game! I wont be around because I'll be taking on the Bucs (yes, me personally) at Raymond James Stadium!

Re: Buccaneers Questions for Tony McGee

How demoralizing is it for the players to completely dominate the opponent in almost all facets of the game (save turnovers) and still lose?

Tony, you played for the Bears, Patriots, and Redskins. Compare the fans.

Re: Buccaneers Questions for Tony McGee

What can the offense do to eliminate some of these drops? Moss and McCardell dropped back to back passes that stalled one drive yesterday, with drops being a problem all season. Can something be done at this point to help?

Stephon Heyer has done a very good job filling in for Todd Wade. At what point do the Redskins allow Heyer to stay the starter, if ever?

With 5 games to go, with the injuries that the personnel have had to overcome, is it reasonable to expect this team to pull a 2005 and win out to make the playoffs?

Tony, at this point we don't know what is happening with Sean Taylor. However, I think we can all agree that it's a terrible situation. So two questions for you:

1. How can the team possibly focus on a game at this point?

2. What are your personal impressions of Sean Taylor over the past few years since he was drafted? Not Taylor the player, but Taylor the person.

Re: Buccaneers Questions for Tony McGee

I think pretty much what I'll do this week is ask Tony some very general questions regarding the Taylor situation (including what has/will be asked here), how the team can recover from something like this and if he experianced anything like this in the past..I dont really want too ask too many play related questions unless anyone has anything really pressing they would like to know outside of the situation. Thanks.

Tony, obviously football is taking a backseat due to this tragedy. Just wondering what your overall thoughts are on this, and how the team and organization will move forward.

Re: Buccaneers Questions for Tony McGee

Tony, I had visions of LeVar Arrington and Sean Taylor tearing up Dallas and New York, plus Philly, too. I know it doesn't make any difference now, but could you give me your opinion about how you saw those two blending together if LeVar had stayed healthy and a Redskin and ST had been anywhere else except at his home? Both of them were true Redskins, and we need more of them and less rejects from other teams. Keep in mind that this is stated out of love and respect for both Sean and LeVar.
