Moss, Cooley, Randle El...
The line is playing well. Portis is running hard. Campbell is in an environment that will breed success.

Re: Welcome back Santana Moss!
Nice to see him step up. He is a streaky player, don't be surprised if he continues to put up numbers like these in the next 2 weeks.

Re: Welcome back Santana Moss!
Yessir he is. Finally, we're giving JC some options to throw to and we see how he responds to this. If you're reading this Santana let's earn that paycheck for the rest of the season and please have a similar game next time we play those bums in FedEx... oh yeah and thank you for a tough played game

Re: Welcome back Santana Moss!
i liked what i saw out of McCardell too yesterday, made some huge catches. When Santana missed the first one i got nervous, but he made up for it with the one hander and then in the fourth he really came through.

Re: Welcome back Santana Moss!
To echo what chrisl said, it was huge to see McCardell contributing to the offense yesterday. With 3 legit receivers in the corps now, should open up things for Campbell, as we saw yesterday.
But yes, it was quite a pleasant surprise to see Santana step up and play his game yesterday.

Re: Welcome back Santana Moss!
You know it! He was awesome. How old is this guy? 37-38 yrs. old? He makes Brandon Lloyd look like a JV team receiver! Moss too was incredible after he got going. That one-handed catch was schweet! I wanna get a pair of shoes like Santana's!

Re: Welcome back Santana Moss!
Yes, Santana had a huge game and I loved every catch. I'm still not convinced yet. If he can get stats close to this in the next couple weeks than he will be back. Let's not say he's back yet though.

Re: Welcome back Santana Moss!
Was it really just new shoes that he needed? I mean, in all honesty, if that's all it took to get him back to his 2005 self then I'm kind of pissed about that.
It took one quarter in Super Bowl XXII for the equipment managers to give the team new cleats to adjust to the field conditions. One quarter. Sure would have liked it if didn't take half a season to get Moss rollin' again.

Re: Welcome back Santana Moss!
Guys, I don't want to take too much credit here, but after Moss dropped that first pass I went and put on my 89 jersey, and things really changed from there.
So next week if Taylor suddenly runs out of the tunnel in the middle of the first quarter with theme music playing like a professional wrestler and smacks Jeff Garcia from behind with a foldable chair, know there's a dude in Japan you need to thank. |

Re: Welcome back Santana Moss!
Watching him was funny this week. When he dropped the first pass, I was calling him an overpaid bum that been drinking from the same toliet the BL has. I slowly started upgrading him during the game from Bum, to Rookie, to an alright receiver, to the F@cking man.
Stick around SM, we need you out there with your head on right.
