Warrick Dunn possible hall of famer???
With only 58 more rushing yards today, Dunn will surpass the mythical 10,000 rushing yards plateau. If there has ever been a more unimpressive player to reach this goal, I'd like to hear it.
Dunn has only 1 time been in the top 10 in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage (2005, 8th and 7th respectively). That being said, he's 22nd all time in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage. Thoughts?

I don't think so. I'm not going to go stat hunting but from what I know the guy hasn't been to very many pro bowls. And he really hasn't made much of a splash with those 10,000, and as we have seen you have to make somewhat of a splash to get voted in. I expect to see him on the ballot but not in the Hall.

I don't think the 10,000 yard mark is as significant as it once was. Of the top 20 all time rushers only 6 of them are below 11,000.

I now think that 10k is too low cause it does mean someone like Dunn could make it, and he doesn't deserve it. I would use 11k as the mark. There are only 16 of them at this point, and the ONLY person you could argue is not a hall of famer is Cory Dillon. But more than likely he will make it.
