Lloyd doesn't make trip to Meadowlands
Per the WP through NFL.com Fantasy:
Brandon Lloyd, WR WAS News: According to the Washington Post, Redskins WR Brandon Lloyd did not make the Week 9 trip to New York to play the Jets. He apparently showed up to Redskins Park, but did not get on the team bus -- instead choosing to drive off in his own car after talking to coaches. Analysis: Lloyd only has two catches all year and is owned in zero percent of leagues, so the Fantasy impact of this act from the former 49er is minimal at best.

Re: Lloyd doesn't make trip to Meadowlands
Buh Bye B. Lloyd...
Redskins Insider B-Lloyd not on the trip - Skipped Meeting He is not here and will not play. From a football standpoint, no big deal, he's been a total bust and has 2 catches all year. But if you needed any more indication that this has been just about the worst trade and contract extension ever, you've got it. He is inactive because he missed a meeting, according to the team. Vinny Cerrato said he had no further comment on the matter, but did confirm Lloyd did not have a personal issue of any kind. From what I am told, as the team was gathering to leave Redskins Park Sunday, Lloyd spoke to the coaches and did not get on the bus, rather jumped in his car and pulled away from The Park ASAP, running over anyone who got in his path. Wonder what Steinberg's take on this will be. Guess Brandon is just miss-understood. |

Re: Lloyd doesn't make trip to Meadowlands
While this is probably the best option it is NOT a viable one due to the CAP implications he would cause. Trade him for a 7th rounder in the offseason and be done with it. Hell, maybe we can give away one of our picks and him for nothing??? {sarcasm}
