Springs to Play;Rabach Unlikely
Redskins Insider
I'm glad Springs will be playing given that we have to go up against Boldin and Fitzgerald. He was upgraded to probable but says Smoot may start because Shawn couldn't practice this week. Not so good about Rabach. Says he was downgraded to questionable. But Pucillo should fit in nice since he was the center for J. Campbell back at Auburn. |

Never knew that about Purcillo..this is looking like a smart move getting him, in hindsight... any word on Wade?

Great news that Springs is playing. We're definitely going to need him. Rabach will be a huge loss if he is unable to play, he is clearly the anchor of our line.

Re: Springs to Play;Rabach Unlikely
Tough about Rabach--that will make things more difficult, no doubt. I was worried about this all week--he kept saying "I'm too dumb not to play, etc" but that was a way of saying he wants to play, but he wasn't confident he could.
Maybe he'll give it a go after warmups. He is a tough dude, to be sure. Glad Springs is back--we'll need him with those big WRs. Gotta be tough for him, but maybe getting on the field is the best way to deal with things.

I thought all week they were saying Rabach would be good to go...that's disappointing...he's become the anchor of that line!

WE CAN MAKE A REAL PUSH, IF WE START GETTING SOME OF THESE GUYS HEALTHY. I SAY LET RABACH SIT UNTIL NEXT WEEK. sorry about the caps, didn't realize it was on. i don't think there is one guy on the cardinals front that worries me

im kinda in the same boat as you man, im not too worried about any of thier players. i think we will be able to shut the run down fairly early and i think our secondary matches up well physically with them given thier tough recievers. they like to hang the ball up in the air for fitzgerald and let him abuse corners, well, not with taylor and landry back there, especially when we know they are passing. |
