Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
Ok so it's that time again.
Skins 23 Cardinals 10 Campbell has a big day as the running game continues to struggle and we have to lean on JC more and more, which isn't necessarily a bad thing anymore. The defense continues to play lights out and only gives up a garbage time TD late in the 4th qtr. Santana bounces back as the game plan sets out to get him involved early and often. Rattay throws at least 2 picks. |

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
I actually like that score a lot. I think we might put one more in at home, but I'll stick with the Cards score.
Skins 30, Cardinals 10. Our defense is going to shut people down all season long...

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
The Skins go crazy at home in a must have game, Skins 30 Cards 7.
Another note, still depressed from a game we should have won, looking at the schedule, should beat Cards, Jets, Bills, Bears, Philly at home, Bucs on the road and either the Vikings or the Boys at home. 7 more wins, 10-6 strong wildcard. Optimisim springs eternal! |

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
Well if our offensive line can play, which at this point it looks like most of them will be able too, I really think we roll. I dont think the Cardinals are that good, with a 3rd string QB running the show on offense, we should eat them alive defensivley. I'm getting to the point, where I'll be suprised if our defense gives up more than one TD a game against teams in this league which arent elite (Obviously I wont predict the same vs NE, Dallas, ect)....however, if our offense can't get rolling, this is going to be a close game. I really don't think very much of Arizona, but than again I have not really watched them very much so I dont know. Skins at home 24-3....I really think our defense is that good. However, we'll see.....but I think we'll be good at home vs The Cards....but they've always played us tough as well, so who knows.

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
Skins are giving up 13.8 pts/game, Cards are surrendering 22.7. Third string QB, on the road, Cards fail to score a TD, Skins manage to hang on to the football. Skins win 27-6.

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
I think we struggle and come out flat but find a way to win. Cardinals traditionally give the Skins a tough game and this will not be any different.

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
I think this will be a close game. I think the offense will score 10 points in the first two drives, but struggle to move the ball after that. Our defense will be solid once again, limiting the Cardinals offense to three fieldgoals and forcing turnovers that lead to a couple easy scores. I don't think our offense gets away without at least one turnover of it's own, and a special teams mix-up leads to seven for the Cards.

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
The Redskins should take advantage of a third string quarterback that does not know the playbook. Big win, 31 - 10.

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
Skins go crazy having only giving up 2 TDs threw the air this season and they shut down Edge while getting 5 Interceptions and 6 sacks in a 45-9 rout

This game is extremely important and I think we'll bounce back this week.

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
Skins 28, Cards 13
I think Rocky Mac gets the only pick of the day. Edge goes for 90+ on the ground, but we stiffle the passing game pretty good. Big day for the offense. Portis scores on the ground, and Campbell throws for 3 TDs.

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
I don't know enough about the cards D, except that Eric Green (a Hokie!) starts ahead of Antrell Rolle, a cb from the U who was picked ahead of our own C. Rogers.
I know they have a couple of playmakers on D - Wilson e.g. but not sure how stout they are up front. As our O line is now, we'll have to play the same game plan we did the last 2 games, set up the run w/the pass. We've been throwing a lot on 1st downs, think we'll have to keep that up. Something tells me that Rattay is gonna bounce back & surprise us. They've got the wr's & he is a vet. Also, don't underestimate Russ Grimm's influence on their o line. This one will be close but we'll hold onto the ball late in the game for a change for a late td & the D will close it w/a pick. Skins 20 Cards 17 |
