Congrats on a dominating, message sending WIN!

All I can say is WOW! What a clinic that defense displayed on Sunday! Without a doubt the best defensive effort I have seen by ANY TEAM IN THE NFL thus far in the season! I have to give credit where credit is due. Campbell looked really good and has mature considerably. Its about time the coching staff relaxed that leash a little bit and let him do what he does best.

But that Redskins defense was flawless, just flawless. The Lions did not convert a 3rd down until late in the 4th quarter. The Washington defense showed lots and lots of speed. And Andre Carter was tossing that LT around like an old rag doll.

Now I would not start booking passage to Arizona just yet if I am Daniel Snyder. They were playing a Lions team that has only won 6 of it last 70 road games. And they have never won a game in DC in the history of the franchise (0-21 at DC). But, none the less, an impressive display of team work and ball control that will send a message to the rest of the NFC.

But the 'Skins showed a lot of savvy and promise. With that win and the G-Men winning 3 straight, it is making the race in the NFC East very interesting and puts pressure on Dallas to keep up the winning ways. If not, one of those teams is bound to catch them.

Thanks for the kind words, sandtrapjack. Of course, if you guys don't lose until November 18th, it'll be impossible to catch you!

Yep, the schedule for both teams in upcoming weeks is very demanding, the Redskins still have a lot to prove, but are on to something I hope!
