Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread

According to JLC's blog:

Moss is out - Thrash starts
Golston, Macklin, Boyd, Boschetti DeMulling Thomas are also out.
(Golston more of a run stuffer and this is a pass-first team; only going with 7 D Linemen in this game, Lorenzo Alexander active for first time and the other back up D Line rush the passer - Chris Wilson's (whose speed could lead to him being on the field much more than normal, and Demetric Evans).

So the new WRs - McCardell and Caldwell- are both active.

Calvin Johnson is up for the Lions. TJ Duckett is out

I, for one, am shocked that Golston is out and Torrence is in but Macklin is out.

Does Macklin play special teams? Also, Torrence has a couple inches on DM - both may be reasons why he is in

As for Golston, your guess is as good as mine.

At least we're playing in our regular uniforms today. I just don't care for the 75th anniversary unis.

It's official, Moss is out. That spells trouble for us!

Nothing on the injury front. JLC just said he is a better run-stopper than pass-rusher (which is contrary to what I thought).

Everyone on the offense needs to be on their game...and we need some aggressive play!

Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread

Campbell needs to be on the mark, he was off to Randel El, otherwise he'[d still be running.
