Rip

Goes out to my grandfather, who recently passed. He has been fighting a battle with leukemia for six years, and eventually pneumonia made him very ill.

It's not about me, it's about him. I will miss him greatly, but I was fortunate enough to be around him and be raised by him as well.

I hope God guides you to a better place.

Re: Rip

I'm fine, but I know he wanted to see a lot of things. Me graduating, getting married, etc. That's what is getting to me right now.

I'm sorry for your loss, Hooskins. I think about my grandpa all the time--he passed in 2000. He's with me in lots of ways--whether its looking down or inside me or whatever it is, he's part of my life.

My Grandfather Gordy is the person I miss the most of all the people I know that have gone on. My house and mind are filled with images and things of his. I speak of him often and try and be the man he was.

My heart goes out to you bro
peace and prayers

Greetings Hoo,
Very sorry for your loss.
My father died of Leukemia some years ago. During that process, he told me not to cry for him as he had the easy part. All he had to do was go. He also said, I had the hard part, as I had to go on.
He was totally correct. So I did not cry for him. I cried for me, as it was my good fortune to have known him at all. I miss him every day, but it's finds it's place.........and that's ok!
Good luck to you Hoo
