F... The Bye Week!

One of the few F Threads that actually belongs in the locker room...

Man I hate the bye week, especially after a loss. I mean, it's nice to give our guys time to heal, which we desperately need. And it's nice to give guys like Reche Caldwell and Rick DeMulling a bit more time to study up and pick up the offense. But man, as a fan, having to watch the NFL this week without being able to watch the Skins, it just kills me.

Especially when I so desperately want to wash the bad taste out of my mouth with a win. F the bye week!

Re: F... The Bye Week!

I know, if Jason Campbell starts getting his completion % up then we're money. I just hope that all 3 of our NFC East brothers lose this week. However with the way the Cowboys are playing lately....

Well all three won't lose since Giants play the Eagles. I think I'll pull for the Giants in this one.

Doubt the Cowboys lose to the Rams but that would be great.

Re: F... The Bye Week!

Well, just look at it this way. We are undefeated against the Bye.

Maybe Lloyd will catch a pass this week.

Nice!

And maybe Portis will get a goal line carry too.

2 offensive linemen is "awful banged up"?

Sure, those 2 are major losses, but overall, we've been very healthy, unlike last season.

Moss, Daniels and Smoot have some minor nicks, but compared to other teams' injury reports, we're VERY healthy.

Re: F... The Bye Week!

Although it's two weeks of feeling like crap rather than one, the time is right to nip the "No heart play" (of the Giants 2nd half) in the bud.

The whole right side of the O-line is new
McIntosh and Washington are banged up
Daniels and Griffin are banged up
Smoot and Springs haven't been healthy
Portis has nagging injuries
Moss is banged up (see the Keenan thread)
Lloyd is hurt...oh wait, nope he just doesn't play

I'd say a week off would be beneficial.

No doubt, I'm a huge Rams fan this weekend. You never know they might get lucky.
