This is a great article on The Miami Project, which is the treatment that will likely allow Kevin Everett to walk again because he was lucky enough to have received almost immediately after his injury. This is a really powerful article and I think it's worth taking the time to read it (you might also have to register with The Boston Globe's website). Mods, please feel free to move this post to a different thread (or it's own) if you think it'd be better someplace else.
