getting to fedex field
Perhaps there is an upside to turning 40. My wife and kids have sprung on me that they got me 2 tickets for the cardnals game on 10/21 (section 110 row 13) and 2 tickets in NY for the Giants game on 12/16 (section 104 row 17).
my question is this. I have heard there is a shuttle from the metro station. we will be staying way up in frederick, so is metro the way to go? any advice would be great. was at a skins game in philly in like 82 and that is the extent of my experence so this should be a memorable season david |

Re: getting to fedex field
I'll also be at the Lions and Cards game in Section 410. I drive from NE NC, about six hours, and park at the pay lots where I've gone before. Long day, good eats if you take tailgate equip, but even longer drive home!
I think it's a 1/2 to 1 mi. hike to the Metro station from the stadium. Google Metro, and download a map. Then, print the map of the stadium from Redskins.com.

Re: getting to fedex field
Go to Morgan Blvd and walk...much easier, I think.
However, upon leaving you can't shuttle back to Morgan Blvd as they only go to the Landover Station. So if you walk from Morgan Blvd, you'll have to walk back to Morgan. Confused? Great! 12M |

Re: getting to fedex field
It's always been about the same hassle driving to the stadium and parking or taking the metro in. If you don't like traffic then take the metro and shuttle on in. It's easy and the $5 shuttle fee is nothing once your in FedEx paying that amount for a package of salt.

Re: getting to fedex field
Last year you could take a skins party bus from clyde's Tower Oaks Lodge. Try calling them to see if they are doing it again this year. The best way to go, no drinking and driving and a quick in and out to the bus lot.
