National Anthem at Fed EX

STOP!!! Stop doing the "OOOOsss" thing during the National Anthem, leave that disrespectful crap in Baltimore. Doing that in the stadium that represents our nation's capital makes it even worse. Just STOP it!!!!!

I kinda hate how people do the National Anthem now days. Sing it normally. I loved Ben Harpers version during the NBA finals though, it was unique.

I'm not sure what you mean... but if I did I still don't understand how it's disrespectful.

Nor I. There's a heck of a lot more disrespectful things that go on at major sporting events than that. People simply exclaiming an actual word from the song is disrespectful? I say lighten up.

Obviously, the O's thing is for the Orioles.

Wasn't long ago when the only base-Ball DC fans had was Orioles ball.

Baltimore fans (and Owner) never gave us any respect for supporting the O's.

There's a new team in town.

I'm for dropping the O's thing.

However, There is so much more to get upset about at skins games (Idiots in the stands that drop 4-letter words around kids trying to take in their first game, etc).

I have to agree with that. Don't get to too many Skins game being from Detroit, but in the Silverdome for Lions games it was bad if you had kids. Totally drunk morons slurring obscenities and the usual fist fight would make me think twice about bringing kids to a NFL game back then. Ford Field is a little better with regards to that now. I wish they would ban the booze inside the stadiums. Let the folks drink during the tailgates, etc.
