Tailgate

Hi Guys,

I will be going to my first redskins game against the cowboys in December (i stay in Scotland) I have my gameday ticket, can you tell me more about the VIP tailgate pass that you can get, for my first time would it be worthwhile going, or is the atmosphere better elsewhere.

Not worth it. You can basically eat for free with your fellow fans and enjoy NOT paying to drink outside in the lots.

The best thing to do is just to tailgate. They open the parking lot up 4 hours before the game. Be there right at that time and then have a blast. There will be parties everywhere... bring a grill, some meat and beer.

If you say you're from out of town, I'm not 100% sure what you would do tailgating wise if you don't have a car. If you DO rent a car, just buy a cheap charcoal grill that you wouldn't mind just throwing away when you're done and tailgate it up with the rest of us!

Hell, he could probably walk along Arena Dr in Skins gear with a cheap cooler and just join in with whatever tailgates you want. You tell people you're a Skins fan from Scotland and I bet 90% of them will be nice as hell and they'd probably offer you food.

That's very true. If anything I know about FedEx, is that people are more than willing to accommodate you as long as you're cool.

Warpath and his wife drop by often when we tailgate and he has season tickets INCLUDING the VIP tailgate and he tries to sell those so he can do the tailgate partying.

We need to get the weekly warpath tailgating going. There are enough of us who go a lot to make it a regular thing. No reason for non-regulars from out of town to have to find a way to tailgate. We should step it up and have an open tailgate thing going. Whose in?

I second that. Ever time I go the Fed Ex my girlfriend and I walk around the parking lot with a bunch of beer until run into some cool people. Every one there has always been great. But it would be awesome to know there was a spot where you could go and tailgate with some of the folks on this site. I meet RedskinRat at a game in S.F. But he's the only person from this site I've meet. Not to mention we didn't meet up with until after 1/2 time so I was pretty wasted by then, cool guy though.
I'm thinking about going to the Bills game in early Dec so it would be nice if you guys back there had a tailgating group. I would be more then happy to bring supplies or help pay for the booze and grub.
