Does anyone consider Irving Fryar a Redskin
I like to post Redskin signings on here.... but wasn't sure if this one would qualify:

I would say....No.
Tidewater had Byner, Theisman and Rypien at individual signings over the last 8 -10 months, but they don't have any Redskin signings for the rest of this year.

I missed Bass. That would've been cool. I agree with you, it would seem to make sense to do more Skins, especially right after the Beach Blitz ? ? ?

You didn't have to talk about him in the first place

Re: Does anyone consider Irving Fryar a Redskin
I am bored so I decided to check out this lame thread since I can't sleep. My answer to your question is no. He was only here what? a couple seasons if that and only had a limited amount of receptions. I think he had a TD or 2, but not much production for the time he was here. Was a waste of space like Andre Ware for the most part.

he was good for us, although obviously way past his prime. I had to live in philly a bit, and he was pushing a announcing career there.

I don't consider him a "real redskin". Very little production when he was here. I wish we had him at the start of his career.

Re: Does anyone consider Irving Fryar a Redskin
I like to post threads when Skins players are doing signing events... I just wasn't sure if he was worthy of such a posting... He was with us 2 or 3 years and I have seen him at a game or two on the sidelines since.

Re: Does anyone consider Irving Fryar a Redskin
I think if I was going to have him sign something it would be a Univ. of Nebraska mini-helmet. He did pop around the league a bit and his best years were in Miami and Philadelphia (though he spent the most time with New England). I looked up his stats and he actually had better numbers in D.C. than I remembered.
