I've been a NASCAR fan all my life, and a Marine for 9 years....this is a good combo, and good info.

Jayski.com has to be the best Nascar web site out there. It should be pretty cool this weekend with all of the cars in special forces colors.

Camo Special Ops #8 Bud Car!

Quote:
Budweiser Desert Camo Car To Honor Troops This Weekend: You may need to look a little closer to find the #8 Budweiser machine during the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway this Sunday. The iconic red paint scheme is being replaced this Memorial Day weekend with a special desert camouflage look, honoring our troops around the globe. Budweiser will donate proceeds from the sale of the collectible diecast camo cars to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF), which provides full-ride college scholarships to surviving dependents of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel killed in combat or training missions, and immediate financial assistance to special operations personnel severely wounded in the global war on terror. More than 700 dependents currently benefit from the efforts of the SOWF. For more information, visit Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The Budweiser team will also carry a special red, white and blue paint scheme during the July 4 weekend at Daytona International Speedway. Budweiser will also donate proceeds from the sales of collectible merchandise of that car to SOWF.
