Who starts at SS?
Looks like we have a three way race going on between Prioleau, Stoutmire, and Fox to start at Strong Safety for us. I'm curious to see who you guys think is going to be our starting SS,and if you think that person is going to be effective for us. I am sure an overwhelming majority of you are going to pick Pierson, but I wouldn't be surprised if the darkhorse pick, Omar Stoutmire, pulls it out.

Re: Who starts at SS?
Well, I hope Fox will start.. I mean he blended pretty well with Taylor for last few games.. So.. But redskins.com also said that coaches re thinking about moving Springs to SS? If so then I'm up for Springs..

Re: Who starts at SS?
they will only move springs to SS if they can find another starting cornerback...Prioleau is the only real option to start at Safety in my opinion. Neither Stoutmire nor Fox is starter caliber

Re: Who starts at SS?
For me this is how it would go:
1) We somehow find another starting CB, and Springs moves over to SS 2) Pierson P. comes back 100% from that ACL and he starts at SS 3) Either Omar Stoutmire or V. Fox, depending on who performs better in training camp. I predict Springs will stay at corner and PP comes back strong from injury and gets the nod at SS.

Re: Who starts at SS?
Yeah I really don't think Springs will be playing SS for us, thats why I left him out, because when Springs is healthy he is by far our best CB and we need him to stay there.

Re: Who starts at SS?
Fox is terrible! Took bad angles, missed a ton of tackles. Guy had one good game. The rest of them he sucked. Leave him on teams and that's it.

Re: Who starts at SS?
prioleau will be the starter, and should be, as long as he is healthy. fox is nothing more then a journeyman. stoutmire is a good, dependable back up

Re: Who starts at SS?
Key phrase there.. He's fragile and I think a move to safety would actually protect him more if we somehow pull the Bly trade..

Re: Who starts at SS?
PP is our SS if he's healthy. There is no doubt about that.

I don't want Bly in Redskins uniform.. Trading for him will cost us too much.. |
