Re: Our Wish Granted at DE?
I don't think he's that effective any more.

Re: Our Wish Granted at DE?
My personal feeling is he has to come very cheap (insert Tom Brady-supermodel joke here) and if he does then yeah at least invite him to camp.

Re: Our Wish Granted at DE?
CHEAP is gotta be the key word. He has 4.5 sacks or less in 4 outta the last 5 seasons and he'll be 31 when the season starts. I don't think he's that much of an upgrade at the DE position.

Re: Our Wish Granted at DE?
11.5 sacks over the last 3 years sounds worse than the guys we have.

Re: Our Wish Granted at DE?
I think this is something that could work, as long as we don't end up in a bidding war with anyone.
Still, i think it's highly unlikely that someone out there won't overspend on this guy given where this market has been set, so i hope it doesn't end up being us |

Re: Our Wish Granted at DE?
Nah. Rather spend the money on draft picks or players that will make a significant impact.

Re: Our Wish Granted at DE?
Did anyone post yet that Adam Carriker ran a 4.72 at his pro day! That is unbelievable for a guy his size. He is a solid 290. I really think we need to scrap that Denver trade and just grab one of these young lineman. This draft is very deep on the D line.

Re: Our Wish Granted at DE?
I like this guy too. 6'6 290, fast, can rush the passer and play the run. Sounds like a complete DE to me.
