Re: Browns win toss with Bucs
Braylon Edwards, Calvin Johnson, and Kellen Winslow would be a nice packing attack if they actually had a decent QB. However, I wouldn't be suprised if they take either Quinn or Peterson instead of Johnson.

Re: Browns win toss with Bucs
Browns are in an interesting situation. They've been hit by some bad luck this week Daylon McCutcheon and LeCharles Bentley are both likely out for 2007 (with Bentley probably having to park himself in the garage permanently, aka retire). KWII is rumored to be out at least 7 months. On the other hand, they're in good financial shape and are eyeing Clements and Steinbach.

Re: Browns win toss with Bucs
Rumor is they want JaMarcus Russell. He may actually be there, as I think the Raiders want Quinn. But the Raiders may be able to negotiate a move with the Browns for the 1st pick.
Can you imagine the amount of idiocy in a room with Raiders and Browns execs talking turkey?

Re: Browns win toss with Bucs
hopefully they won't take Peterson & he'll still be there when we pick.
J. Clayton's article on espn said that a lot of people in Houston would like to get AP at #8. If they want him bad enough it would be sweet if they gave us a 2nd or 3rd just to move up 2 spots. We could still get a good D lineman at 8. |
