Super Bowl food: post your recipes
I make a cheesy fiesta dip that taste decent:
1 brick of Velveeta- cubed 1/2 pound of ground beef cooked with taco seasoning 8 oz can of salsa/picante 8 oz can of refired beans *sometimes I put in a cup of monterey jack cheese as well which makes it thicker. Put them all in a slow cooker for about 2 or 3 hours.

Re: Suber Bowl food: post your recipes
I love the Suber Bowl almost as much as I love the Super Bowl. Almost.

Re: Suber Bowl food: post your recipes
My aunt and sister both make these things for family parties and they are great. The only problem is that they usually only last a few minutes before everyone scarfs them down.

Re: Super Bowl food: post your recipes
Here's a very good dip.
Dice all of these up: 1 good size onion 1 large cucumber 1 0r 2 tomato's depending on size 1 & 1/2 green or yellow or red pepper 1 1/2 cup mild cheeder cheese 1 small bottle of Italian Dressing Mix in a bowl and let it sit in frig for atleast 2 hours, over night is best and serve with your fav corn chips. The measurements of the ingredients is really just the same amount of each thing. |

Re: Super Bowl food: post your recipes
I don't have any recipes, but my Mom would make something similar to your cheese dip, 724. However, a few years ago I got a mysterious cheese stain on the back of one of my shirts -- right in the center. There is NO possible way I could have done it. I am almost certain that somebody was eating that dip, then gave me a hug and had that cheese dip on their hands. Now I will always be careful of getting hugs when the cheese dip is present. Beware!

Re: Super Bowl food: post your recipes
Basically you can take any flavors you like, mix them with some butter and get awesome wings. Here's a nice way to make some tasty ones.
Get your butter at room temperature so you can mash it. Take any flavorings you like, if you like cajun, toss that, some paprika, garlic powder into the bowl with the butter, mash it all up. Now bake the wings until they're done and while they're hot toss them in the bowl with all the butter and it coats them nicely.

Re: Super Bowl food: post your recipes
Yeah, but I don't know about this particular recipe, I just pulled it off a random website. They basically just taste like crab cakes, which means that they're really good.

Crab cakes and football. That's what Maryland does.
