I still love MY Redskins!

I will still watch no matter how bad it gets. I love sitting down on a Sunday afternoon with a cold one and a J and watching the best game in America. Its great when they win and it makes the losing seasons all worth it when they have a season like the one in 05. Theydidn't make it this year.....So what! I will still watch the Redskins every game and cheer on the team I love. I remember when it was Great and have suffered through the horrible( I'm looking at you Norv) years like many of you. Its hard to lose but try to remember how great last year felt, and how great 91 and 87 and 82 were? Some teams have never had anything close to the sucess we have had. And we have the Man who made those SB's possible. We have a world of talent on this team and if you think we will be down for long, you are dead wrong. JG WILL make this team great again. He has said he is here until this thing gets fixed and I have full faith in him. This team will be scary good next season, but even if they are not.......

Do you feel the love???

I'm with you (all). There has never been nor will there be a season in which I don't watch or, due to extreme circumstances, listen on the radio a Redskins game.

I'm right there with you still even though I'm pretty salty about the whole thing today. I was there yesterday, I'll probably be there this Sunday and I'll keep going and keep watching as long as they're still out there trying.
Hail

Re: I still love MY Redskins!

Even though it is hard to lose, I have enjoyed each game at some point. The Skins find at least one way or another to suprise us. The blocked punt, the Moss catch.. both of those this past Sunday were sweet to watch, and I always love watching Sean Taylor move is a*s to go get someone. The Jags game was one of the best games I've ever watched. And the Dallas game couldn't have been any sweeter. I'm going to keep watching and hope for a few more moments to remember.

Re: I still love MY Redskins!

As pissed as I may get at them during the games, I'll still be in front of the tv. Skins jersey on, skins hat on, food on my Skins plate, drinking out of my Skins cup, listening to Enter the Sandman and Hail to The Redskins before the game starts.

Hail Mother F###### !!!!

Yes. Good post. I prefer winning over losing, but it's fun no matter what.

I feel the love and will always remember the good old days. But it's tough when we look at today's team. But I still remember 82, through 91. Hell 92 was a great year and was probably Gibbs best coaching job. 87 was my favorite team of all time. Not the best Skins team but gritty as hell. I still remember the Chicago playoff game when it was 10 below. Anyone remember the punt return when Darrell Green grabs his stomach while he hurdles a Bear defender on his way to the end zone? One of my favorite Skins moments of all time. And the RFK playoff game against Atlanta in 91? 56-17 and everyone threw their seat yellow seat cushins? A moment I'll never forget. I guess this is why we are giving Gibbs the benefit of the doubt becasue he has given all of us such great memories.

Re: I still love MY Redskins!

As bad as this season has been, its still given me some memories...they all do.

I'll never forget the Jaguars win...my deseaced body wont forget that Cowboys game....I have a feeling my reaction to that game is a story that will be told on my death bed.....even the Panthers game last week, going down with my best friends to the game, having a great time is somthing I'll never forget.

It sucks that this season has gone the way it has...but its still better than March where I have nothing to do on Sunday afternoons.

Re: I still love MY Redskins!

i feel the love. i dont care if the skins are losing by 50, ill watch every last minute of the game. the skins were losing big time to philly, in the pouring rain, in the 4th quarter, and there i sat, still hoping. meanwhile, everyone else went inside. i will always love the redskins
