a positive and a negative
I want you guys to look over our current qb situation and give 1 posive and 1 negative from this move to make cambell the starter I can only think of a positive but I am pretty sure you guys will be able to help me out with a negative.
[/QUOTE] "I feel like I can help stretch the field with those downfield throws," Campbell said.

Re: a positive and a negative
Did you make that quote up or did he say it?
For my positive, I feel 100% confident that Campbell is going to spread the ball around and go downfield more than Brunell ever has. For my negative, I'm concerned that without game experience, he might not be able to "manage" the game as well as Brunell.

Re: a positive and a negative
positive- He's not brunell. (strong arm, quick feet, not scared to take a hit)
negative- he's not brunell (he's a rookie)

Re: a positive and a negative
Positive: Not afraid to take riskier deep throws.
Negative: Not afraid to take riskier deep throws. Here's another... Positive: Throws 105 TD passes in the first quarter. Negative: The other teams in the league realize that they can't compete with the Redskins any longer and disband only to form a new league without allowing the Redskins to play in it.

Re: a positive and a negative
negative: I've said this a few times now: I'm worried that he might not be as good as we hope (think Kyle Boller). The Skin's coaching staff and FO, the guys who bumped up Campbell's draft value, are the same guys who have had some huge misses here over the past few years.
positive: He should be able to stretch the defense, which will open everything up for the entire offense for years to come. Winner: Positive, IMO.

Re: a positive and a negative
Positive- young leg under him, good arm, I think a good head.
Negative- no experience. Cant do much worse then what we have seen the past 3 years. I would say winning 4 games would be a success. Lets just hope he dont get pulled at the half. |

Re: a positive and a negative
No kidding it is like we have been cursed at QB. We have not had a regular QB-one that has had the job for more then 3 or 4 seasons- since Theisman. Possibly Ripen.

Re: a positive and a negative
Excellent. From what I saw from him in his few preseason starts, he throws a MONEY deep ball. I'm sure Moss and Lloyd are licking their chops.

Re: a positive and a negative
Negative: hasn't played against NFL defenses at full speed and hasn't learned to read Ds yet.
Postive: live arm and good legs, toughness, and character. Support of team (unlike, say, PR).
