top 10 pick
our schedule isn't gonna get any easier, so say we tank the season and end up with a top ten pick, what position do you think we should select and do you have any thoughts on a particular college player this early in the college season. I personally think we need a solid DE pass rusher, cornerback, or possibly a quarterback.

Re: top 10 pick
It's early to guess what our pick will be, but I'm going to jump off a bridge if we don't do something about our CB situation (whether through draft or otherwise).

Re: top 10 pick
I'd love to see us draft some lower round offensive linemen.

Re: top 10 pick
Carlos Rogers was a Top 10 pick. I hope we make a better selection in April. If we don't trade the pick for an overhyped free agent, I say we draft a DB or linebacker who instead afraid to tackle the QB.

Re: top 10 pick
i'll pull it up in a bit. what we take depends totally on players available, needs, free agents available, and any deals offered.

Re: top 10 pick
Trade down to try and pick up more picks. That is of course if we get a top 10 pick. If we get one that early we could probably move down and get a late 1rst and pick up a second and maybe even a third.

Re: top 10 pick
I think if the Skins got an ace corner Rogers would probably be okay. They need someone to help him over the top with a safety, but they had a shutdown man to man guy you could do that. That won't help Rogers catch, but I think then he'd look pretty good.
I don't know how to go about getting that though. Get Champ back? Lol. I guess you draft the best available corner or DT; maybe LB. I don't even know anymore. I don't really know what would fix this team. However, I bet there are a lot of teams thanking God that the Skins dropped those dollars on Gregg Williams cause hiring him as a head coach is a mistake. I don't think he's a head coach in this league. He's kinda like Ray Rhodes, better suited to be a coordinator and that's it. I'm sure he'll get another shot though, I hope it's not here. |

Re: top 10 pick
if theres a top CB prospect available wherever we pick, assuming we get a high pick, u gotta take him. the CB is the most important part of the williams defense and our biggest weakness right now IMO

Re: top 10 pick
unless it looks like he's a bust or has bad history (crime, injury, etc). not enough info yet to really get into the specifics you need to know.
