How is Portis'..uh... 'stuff'?
That was a vicious hit he took right to the boys. Here's hoping Portis has a quick and speedy recovery.
BTW -- Big ups to him for not fumbling the ball. I think most people would crumple in pain and forget they had a ball. That hit was somewhat symbolic of our season.

Most NFL players don't wear cups. Many skill positions at least. WRs/RBs say it impedes their movement too much. Im curious if he was wearing one...

i really surprised that doesnt happen more often. and lets get portis running between the tackles, where he is very effective. it seems like all the teams we face load up on the sweeps, so the whole defense is waiting on portis in the hole
