Favorite "new school" Redskin

who is everybodies favorite current redskin. also, since LA(puke) is gone, who do you think is the new face of the redskins?

my personal favorite is sean taylor because you can always count on him to change a game around. i think the face of the redskins is clinton portis now. he is the epitome of a redskin.

Re: Favorite "new school" Redskin

Portis has become the player face of the organization without a doubt. He gets national recognition of his pressers when he dresses up... which (unless there's an issue with some one) no one else in the league really does. I think that is one of the things that makes him recognizable and will be considered the franchise guy...

I personally love the guy. He was my favorite back in the league before we got him and I was extatic when he came to us for chump bailey.

Portis is probably the new player "face". Gibbs is the guy though.

Still, I think that my personal favorite players are becoming Randy Thomas and Mike Sellars. Tough guys who just love to plow to road. (not to mention Thomas being a part time professional eater)

thomas is a very very bad pro eater. he likes food, and he may eat a lot, but the speed just isn't competitive.

I really just love this entire group. Marcus Washington, Salavea, Lemar Marshall, Jansen, Rock, and then of course the aforementioned big 3. Even Brunell I find myself warming up to. I cried a little bit last weekend when Santana scored just cos it was so moving to me to see all his teammates run to meet him in the endzone, and you could see the comradery they had. I love their competitiveness and physicality.

I personally like Marcus Washington. He works hard, plays harder. You never hear him complain, or trash talk about anyone. His quiet demeanor may not make him a leader, but his actions on the field makes other players to follow him.

After reading the post article this a.m. and watching his play the last couple of weeks, Kedric Golston is right up there.

Moss, Portis, and Washington. While I love Taylor on the field, with all of his off the field problems in his short time with the team, I personally don't like the idea of him being even close to what epetimizes a new era redskin. The other 3 perform incredibly well on the field and since their arrival in town have been model Redskins off the field as well. Honorable mentions go to Thomas, Griffin, Salvae, Jansen, Springs, and Marshall.
