What If
I was reading another Thread and someone said "if we continue to play like this we'll sure be picking #1 in next years draft".
So that got me thinking IF you end up with the #1 pick and I'm not saying this team is going to be the worst in the league far from it but IF would you suggest taking B.Quinn or Ohio State or Troy Smith who's climbing the charts right now or you go another direction knowing you have Campbell on the ropes. Re: What If
If the Skins got the number 1 pick, it would be a different team pondering this question because Denver gets to swap first rounders with us, thanks to the Duckett trade.
As for whether I'd rather have one of those guys than Campbell, they are all unknowns, so I guess we ought to try out the unknown that's been on the team for over a year now. |

Re: What If
I'm gonna' say we probably will look CB first considering how old Springs is getting. After that, I would say we would look at early rounder offensive linemen, but if we DO get that pick, that obviously means we had some protection issues. I think we're set at WR, and I'm not sure spending another number one pick on a quarterback would be worth it.

Re: What If
I tought Denver got a Third round pick for the Leile/Duckett trade last I counted you only have the first round pick you lost the second with the Mcintosh in this year draft and the third with Duckett.

Re: What If
IF we got the number 1 pick we would most definitely trade it to the Titans for Kerry Collins, I mean c'mon that's obvious. We probably would throw in a 3rd rounder too.

Re: What If
Ha, shows how much you know! We'd obviously trade it for either Kurt Warner or Trent Green (they know Saunders' system). Duh!

Re: What If
i think denver can only trade 1sts if the difference equals the value of a 3rd rounder....
Quinn, right now, is a safer bet. I think leinart is probably better though, and culter a bit worse. |

Re: What If
It is pure conjecture anyway but the Redskins will not be picking first regardless. No way they end up in worse shape then the Raiders or Texans by seasons end. They usually start slow and then hit a win streak around mid-season. I fully expect that again.
And IF that happened (big IF) the more important question would be who will be the next head coach. Gibbs would be history. |

Re: What If
Nahhh. Gibbs is here as long as he wants to be here. I keep telling you guys, Sunday is by no means a guaranteed win with their receivers and our secondary.
