Uh oh, a political thread. Militants vow war after Pope's comments?
Of course, we all know this is touchy ground and please lock if things get too out of control, but I needed to vent and no one is online via AIM to vent to. I'm reading all this stuff about the Pope's comments and how now militants are vowing to go to war over it. Isn't this totally validating what his comments suggested? Granted, he was simply quoting an old text, but still, they are totally going apeshit over this.
It reminds me of an overly sensitive person who is like, "Oh yeah? Wanna' fight?!?!" over every little thing that's said about them. If you really want to prove to the world that you're a religion of peace, then why not let some things roll off your back?

Steve Harvey had a pretty funny skit about how different religions react to things during his radio show this morning. However, you know I have to lock this because it will get out of hand and everyone here is in a pissy mood as it is. You wanna vent, PM me.
