Sportswriters' "Thread of Shame"
This thread is dedicated to the writers who just don't "get it". Not necessarily because they are Skins bashers, but because they do it either without knowing the facts, without even a hint of impartiality, or, simply, without class. If you come across someone to add to the list, post here and I'll update the top post. If someone redeems themselves, I'll take them off the list.

Re: Sportswriters' "Thread of Shame"
Any specific articles? The search function isn't working for me right now, so I can't pull up old posts.
EDIT: Also, it could be that this is a short list. Maybe it just feels like everyone is out to get us.

Re: Sportswriters' "Thread of Shame"
I think GTripp should be mentioned in this list. He picked against the Redskins!

Re: Sportswriters' "Thread of Shame"
lol - I'll have to start a separate thread for "Posters 'Thread of Shame'". I'll probably have to add myself to the list, too.

Re: Sportswriters' "Thread of Shame"
I'm just messing around with GTripp. I know that there's a difference between being a fan and making reasonable, thought-out predictions; the same applies for sports writers.
I jsut hate the people who can't back up any of their arguements.

Re: Sportswriters' "Thread of Shame"
SI.com - Writers - Dr. Z's Power Rankings: 21-32 - Wednesday September 13, 2006 11:47AM
Don't forget about that douchebag, Dr Z (from SI, not Dodge). He's totally underrating the Skins without any reason of why he's ranking them so low. Plus, he's even working on an excuse for their eventual success. Basically, he's a dick.

Sally Jenkins wins this in a landslide. We can stop right here.

Re: Sportswriters' "Thread of Shame"
Keith Olberman talks more than he writes, but he belongs in some kind of Hall of Shame.
That freaky-eyed rapper on ESPN too, Stuart Scott. I could look past his bad eye if he didn't try so hard to be like a white guy that wants to be black. He's like Carlton Banks from Fresh Prince. |

Re: Sportswriters' "Thread of Shame"
Luckily, it's not a zero sum game - we can have lots of winners!

Re: Sportswriters' "Thread of Shame"
George Solomon. I'd link the thread but the search no worky. Basically he called out fans for being "bush league" last year when we cauased the Bears multiple false starts with our raucous cheering.
