Will Espy make the team?
Not sure how everyone on here feels about ESPY making the team but I hope he does. I think we will trade Patten back to the Patriots and ESPY will be on the team. Let me know what you guys think

Practice Squad unless they can trade Patten. Unlikely.

Look, you gotta love the guy's heart, motivation, back story and raw talent. Most of all, he's got some upside there. My head says practice squad, but my gut says something strange could happen.

Re: Will Espy make the team?
The Patten-Pats trade sounds kind of interesting in light of the Branch debacle. I highly doubt it will happen, but it's interesting.
As for Espy, I don't think he'll make the cut. He's looked inconsistent - he makes some really nice catches and then drops some easy ones. |

Re: Will Espy make the team?
He has heart and he runs with with a sense of purpose (unlike someone I won't mention by name)...he SHOULD make the PS.

Re: Will Espy make the team?
By the way. Anyone else watching Niners-Chargers on NFL Network? Dilfer just led the Niners on a 16 play, 93 yard drive highlighted by Taylor Jacobs' 3 catches for 41 yards!! Go TJ. Will wonders never cease

Re: Will Espy make the team?
I can only comment on the first game of PS, as it's the only one I've seen (was in Canada at the time) - we don't get PS games in the UK as a rule. I was impressed with him in that game and reading the subsequent gaem recaps and comments about him, he should at least make the PS.
He seems to have some speed - has been been tried as KR or PR at all? I know Randle-El is likely the main returner, but with Betts' future uncertain, I was just wondering. |

Re: Will Espy make the team?
Keep him on the PS until Thrash retires next year.
Not retiring? Gibbs stops feeling sorry for the guy and cuts him. |
