Next Week vs Baltimore

How long do you play the starters? Do you try to get a win for morale sake? Discuss...

Re: Next Week vs Baltimore

Play the starters for a quarter max, unless someone needs the reps. Give the second team and new additions, Duckett, Rumph, a half for reps. Campbell for two quarters; Collins less than a quarter. Guys on the bubble, all the time they need to make their case.

Re: Next Week vs Baltimore

Going for a win?

Why?

You play the starters very little, a few series at most. In two weeks everyone's records go back to 0-0, who cares about a preseason win?

Stick to the plan...minimal play by the starters.

Like finishing preseason 1-3 instead of 0-4 is a hige difference, 1-0 after the Vikes is what counts.

Re: Next Week vs Baltimore

Play them 3 series or the 1st quarter whatever ends first. Give Campbell the rest of the game.

Re: Next Week vs Baltimore

Play the starters as little as possible and enter the preseason fresh and rested.

Why risk injury for a meaningless win? It's F-ing preseason.
