Springs feeling the Pain II.

washingtonpost.com

This has to rain on our parade. Im fully confident in the defense but I didnt think Springs was going to be suffering like he says he is. Of course the Skins media acts like he is sitting out with pimple. My guess is he wont be 100% probably till week 2 or 3. An injury and surgery that he had really would require to be fully healthy before returning to full contact. I think the Skins will want to make a move a huge splash in FA if possible next year or count what draft picks they have left and try to get a CB to take over for springs who is aging and always seems to get nicked up. That and OL is depth at this point would seem to be of the utmost concern. Not to fail to mention finding another QB next year too.
Someone posted they were worried about the future, this will be challenging to fix next year.

Oh I agree but Mark/Todd screw todd, Mark is going to retire and Todd ought to take what the league has given him and gracefully bow out. Leaving Bramlet the backup??

Re: Springs feeling the Pain II.

Springs may miss the first game which is okay cause it is only the Vikings. I hope he back in time for the Cowboys game as we are going to need him to help shut down little Miss Hamstring. But I think Shawn still has a few more good years left in his body and hopefully they will be all with us.

We should pick up one more young CB for the future when Springs is ready to move on.
