Huge fan of Art Monk?
So, what would you do to prove how big a fan you are? I happen to know that the former home of Art Monk is on the market. When I first moved to Arlington in 1986, Art Monk lived around the corner from me. He moved shortly after that to his house in Great Falls.
It's a 4 bedroom + den luxury TH about 1 mile from the Balston Metro, in North Arlington. I can't believe the idiot realtor isn't promoting it as Monks former residence! Who wouldn't want to say that Art Monk once lived in their house! |

That is very cool, but since I don't live or work in that area anymore and can' t afford it I don't think I'm in the market!!

Re: Huge fan of Art Monk?
As cool as it would be to advertise the house that way, realtors are bound by some pretty serious disclosure laws. I would be willing to bet that the realtor is not allowed to disclose who the previous owners were prior to the current seller.

Wouldn't it be funny if P. King ended up buying that house.

Re: Huge fan of Art Monk?
Actually you can get the sales history and tax records for any property, so I doubt that is the reason they are using his name.

Re: Huge fan of Art Monk?
That's true...didn't think about that. I just know they (realtors) can't disclose certain things like whether someone in the house was sick or disclose race, etc. Perhaps it's like a TV Ad or billboard...you can't use a name or likeness to sell something unless you have permission...usually paid permission?
