What is the history of your ID?

I've seen some great ID's on this site, and some that are not so obvious. Tell us about them...

I'll start off with my obvious one. I coined the term in the 80's the very first time I played fantasy football. It has ALWAYS been my team name in every league since then. The marriage of Hogs and Redskins is obvious, but another factor played into it. I married a southern belle in the 80's, and her mother LOVED to eat those disgusting deep-fried pigskins. So I have to admit, that helped me come up with the idea LOL.

Let's hear about YOURS!!

Well mine is sort of obvious I suppose. When he was in his last year at Mississippi State I started hearing about Fred Smoot's "legendary" trash-talking aka Smoot Smack. It just rolled right off the tongue, so I started using it. Lucky for me he went on to join the Redskins

Ugh - this is embarrassing! I actually got my name off a game. A guy I used to play Myth with had a team name of "We save baby seals!" and so when I moved over to EQ, I became Daseal Clubbah. Daseal kinda stuck with me.

Please, stop the finger pointing and laughing!

Sammy, I love it. My dad got Redskin tickets when they first came to DC. He used to talk about Sammy Baugh a great deal when he took me to games to watch Eddie LeBaron and Ralph Guglielmi (sp?)

Daseal, that's a riot - I wondered what yours was all about!!

Hey, Smack - I had yours figured, but did not realize it went back to college days.

Thanks for posting, guys.

Between 1984 and April 11th 1992 I went to 23 Orioles without them winning one game. Thankfullly my curse did not carry over to the O's new park nor to Skins games. Once coming home from a game my little brother called me a jinx, and it became a part time nick name.

A few years ago I started to play online games and one of the first was F-22 by novalogic. I wanted to be jinx, it had a nice ring to it and was easy to type. ( I am a hunt and peck typer) However someone beat me to it so I took Hi-jinx and it pretty much stuck with me as my handle in most online games and forums.

Mine is sorta easy to see. I have been a Nittany Lion fan since I was born basically, I bleed blue and white even through the past few years. Also, I was brought up a Redskins fan because my uncle was a HUGE fan. I was actually Dexter Manley for halloween one year when i was little. I had a Manley jersey and a authentic fullsized helment from my uncle, they were a bit big but I was the most feared person on the block for that halloween!!! The 11 comes from LaVar's college number. He is my favorite nittany lion of all time and he always reps PSU!!!!!
