Scrimmage rant.
I saw a hint of Adam's downfall as a NFL safety. That is being too close to the line of scrimmage on run plays and getting behind blocked guys letting the RB continue up field. You may say well duh its a run you have to come up and meet them, well yeah if it is available make the tackle but what good is it if your supposed to the last man back but you rush up to the line and dont even contribute to the play and forfeit any safety net when it bust open.
I sure hope G Williams saw that as I'm sure that wasnt Adams responsibility on those plays. The flip side is anyone he does grab will get stuffed big time over and over again I see him being taken out of plays b/c he comes up to the line as opposed to sitting slightly out and waiting for the sure tackle. Did anyone else see him on those plays today or in the past?? I saw Rocky out there what seemed like the last possesion drive for the D. Didnt really get a good evaluation of him. Reed Doughty really let me down. I hope he can prove himself better b/c we will not carry any liabilities going into the season. Listening to Rod Woodson broadcast is so annoying. He never knows how to pronounce or remember names. And is too cocky to listen to. I hope he nevers sees a gameday play by play position. NFL network did a horrible job of camera angles and not allowing the viewers to examine the players. Zooming in on one guy standing around while the teams are playing. Big let down thinking I could stay at home and view the game in peace. But for those who didnt get a chance to see it Mon. 8- 10pm CSN will re-air it. Good news is from here on out there will be a game every week. Which I am sure will lift my spirits having something to look forward to for the next 6 months or so finally. Its awesome to hear that the Skins movement generates more people than a 49ers or Cardinals reg. season home game. Thats really pitful to their cities. Sux to be them. |

It's also preseason and he's in a new scheme for the first time in many many years. give him a couple weeks to learn his assignments. I'm sure one of the 452 coaches we have on staff took notice, and it's not like they don't go over game film. |

It was the first time against another team and he has to get use to playing with Taylor he will learn that he doesnt have to be in every tackle like in St Louis.
