Holy S, Dr. Z likes Darrell

This is from Dr. Z's article about potenial first ballot HOFers from this era, and we'll actually agree with him on this one:

But then what about Rod Woodson (class of 2009), who has already been selected to the NFL's alltime team? I would vote for him, although I rank him third behind Deion and still another corner, the Redskins' heroic little Darrell Green. He'll come up with the class of 2008. The major competition will be Cris Carter and Tony Boselli. Yes, I'm 100% in Darrell's corner.

Is there anyway he votes for two Skins in one year?

I bet he thinks that'll appease Skins fans.

he'd be wrong to think that. He'd be a collar popper if he was 40 years younger.

He probably still pops his collar. Also, if you come to our tailgate on opening day, I expect you to wear like 10 collared shirts with all the collars popped. I would laugh my ass off.

Just yesterday I was thinking that. I would also need aviators, wristbands, baggy plaid shorts, REALLY white shoes and a sideways hat.
I still need to see what my usual tailgate crew is doing before I offically put my name down on the beer pong roster. I might just have to make an appearance and then vanish like a fart in the wind.

Yeah, if anything show up. Hell, if you get a red parking pass, we can join festivities. But yes, that outfit sounds perfect.

If Green doesn't make it first ballot, there is something seriously, seriously wrong with the Hall voters.

Will Tony Boselli's bust have a sling and a cast?

How about one of those giant neck bands around it?

How the hell is Boselli a candidate?

If Green isn't unanimous there is a conspiracy.

Boselli isn't even close. We have 2 OTs that should be in before him: Jacoby and Lachey. How many rings does Boselli have?

Did Boselli even protect Brunell's blindside? Wasn't that Leon Searcy at RT? It's ridiculous that there isn't a single Hog in the Hall.

Tony f'in Boselli? Quality player but not enough of a career. Too many injuries not enough rings. If he gets in I vote for Timmy Smith to get in also. That's about only thing that would be worse.
