includes $25.7 million guaranteed! Must be nice considering the Guy has never played a down in the NFL.

i dont think it will be long until the nfl has some kind of rookie cap like the nba. that money is downright disgusting for someone that some people arent sure can play quarterback in this league

Re: Vince Young signs with Titans

the nba limits length of rookie contracts and also caps the amount of money. really a good idea to protect veterans and owners alike

Where's the outrage that his deal could be potentially worth more than Mario Williams? Hell, had one huge game and a very very good season. Reggie was lights out all year and won the Heisman, but everybody wants to tear him down...where's the equity? I like them both and wish them both well, I just don't get how everyone is coming to their decisions.

I think everyone hates on Bush because of the surrounding cast that he had. Two first round pick RBs from USC, numerous offensive line picks. I think most of us just think he's a system back until he proves us otherwise.

I think somewhere down the line the Titans will regret both taking Mario that high and paying that kind of money up front for him. I mean the league is full of good to very good DEs that weren't taken that high.

We'll see of course, but this kid had better be an absolute beast from down one.

Re: Vince Young signs with Titans

Guys, I live in the Nashville area and the word on the sports talk radio stations is that Bud Adams (Titans owner) wanted Young in the draft over Matt Leinart and got him. You guys know Young being a Texas boy and Adams ties to Texas, they were the Oilers once for you young guys. And so that is how this happened so fast. Bud wants him in camp and Bud writes the check.
