$17 million signing bonus for a rookie? Please. Tell ya what I would do if I were GM of the Browns. I would put out my first offer, then after the Poston counter I would tell them to write everything they think KW2 will do. Things like rookie of the year X number of yards, TDS, etc. then I would just make almost all of his contract incentives. If he going to be the second coming that the Postons claim then he shouldn't have any problems. Then if the Postons said anything real stupid, I would look KW2 in the eyes and tell him there will be no more contract talks till he gets a new agent or take my latest offer. The Postons can't oford to have this guy sit a year because I can't see any draftie signing with them ever again. And KW2 can't offord to sit becuase of his mouth and his sitting out it might push him down to next years lower 1st or even second round.

As much as that would hurt KW2 and the Postons, it would hurt Clevland even more, IMO. Not a bad idea though, and I think it would work.

Thank God we did not pick KWII. KWII and his agent sound like a pair of assholes. The Cleveland crowd is going to boo KWII the first time he is introduced at the first home game this year. If he has signed his contract and is on uniform.

After having spent about 5 minutes on that forum I would like to formally thank Matty for not choosing an obnoxious color scheme like that one. Damn I got a headache...and I have a final tonight...ugh! :confused-

Butch Davis is fighting to save his job. If the Browns stink this year, Davis will be calling the moving companies and the local realtors. So, he really needs to get KWII signed and into camp and happy. I suspect the Browns will overpay for KWII.
To those Warpathers reveling in the fact that the Skins did not take KWII, please hold your exuberance until Sean Taylor signs his contract, banks his signing bonus check, reads over the signed contract to be sure it is actually what he thought it was when he signed it and reports to training camp. Training camp begins in mid-July. There is less than a 10% chance that Taylor will be signed before the Fourth of July and there is about a 30% chance he will not be there on the first day of training camp. |

Weather around here in July will be HOT and HUMID with a proliferation of gnats and "pop-up thunderstorms" That is a 100% lead-pipe cinch!
