Thank God for Sirius and Howard Stern...I don't listen to terrestrial radio any longer. You are right though, there is some straight up shit being created these days.

For the longest time I've wanted to start a "F 'Beautiful" by James Blunt" thread. I know it's Schneed10's favorite song, but I just want to stick flesh eating maggots in my ear when I hear that damn song

Re: F some of this new crap on the radio...
For the past 4 years I have been radio free. Radio commericalized, agenda driven and often times they'll simply fold if 10 people complain. Plus it seems like a handful of companies own all the radio stations (Clear Channel comes to mind). Disgusting really.

Matty, do you share this opinion as well...
Jettas, leis, the "Beep" song. I think they go together like a well-oiled machine. I can see a bunch of D.U.F.F.s getting their grind on to that song and screaming loud when it comes on. And then I kill myself.

Talk about a rat face. He looks like he should be chewing through cardboard boxes and leaving brown "rice" all over my floor.

Another bad recent song is that graduation song. "Where'd you go? I miss you so." BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Nice burn though, gotta give you credit. Saying someone likes that song is a pretty good way of basically telling them they're a total vag. I hate that song so much. That and that John Mayer crap that came out a couple years ago... I want to put that guy's head in a vice a la Joe Pesci in Casino.

Re: F some of this new crap on the radio...
Radio Free since 1997. I remember it very well. It was first thing in the morning, and I had just walked into the office that I shared w/ a hottie. I remember it was a nice spring day...
I turned on the radio that sat on her desk. She had it tuned to the rock station. Chumbawamba's "Tubthumping" comes blaring out of the speakers. Man, talk about musical drivel... it sounds like wet shit hitting concrete. I hate that effing song. "I get knocked down, but I get up again You're never gonna keep me down...." I had to make the burning in my ears stop, so I switched to the next preset - the 'alternative' station. Tubthumping was on that station too. "Pissing the night away, Pissing the night away...." Getting really annoyed, I hit the next preset on the radio - Top 40 station. Tubthumping. "He drinks a whiskey drink He drinks a vodka drink He drinks a lager drink He drinks a cider drink He sings the songs that remind him of the good times He sings the songs that remind him of the better times...." Now I'm ready to cry. Next button... I'm pretty sure it was the dance station. Even freakin' Madonna would be better than this. Better in the exact same way that getting kicked in the knee will totally make you forget your headache for a moment. Not a chance. I went four for four in thirty seconds. Here comes the chorus! "I get knocked down, but I get up again You're never gonna keep me down...." It's the musical cockroach. Post-apocalypse, it'll be the only song left.
