I don't trust Ty Law. Collins in my opinion looks like the the best pick in this lot!

Re: Remaining Top FAs: Where will they go?
Law wants to get paid big $$$ which is why he hasn't been signed by anyone yet. He had a terrific season last season. I doubt the Skins can afford him.

Re: Remaining Top FAs: Where will they go?
Ok, heres my angle:
Law will sign in KC sometime after June 1st Collins will sign in Tennessee after McNair's release Boston will sign in Green Bay Mitchell's tough...I'll say Buffalo I have no idea where the interest in Plummer is. Seattle or Minnesota for sake of arguement.

Re: Remaining Top FAs: Where will they go?
i don't want a single one of them. Law is a possibility but F... that because if we really needed a CB we would have got one in the draft and not only would Law cost an insurmountable amount of money he would serve the same problem that we have with springs, the bitch is too old and soon to retire so then what? THEN WHAT?!!?!

Re: Remaining Top FAs: Where will they go?
were going to sign law for the veteran minimum because he wants another ring,at least thats what he'd do if he was smart, and if all he cared about was the ring, and we all know todays pro athlete is all about the ring, not the money

Re: Remaining Top FAs: Where will they go?
First off there's not a chance law will sign with us, the redskins do not the cap space for him, and yes maybe he is over the hill but recording one of his best season last year dont count him out to make an impact for another team(Chiefs). And the statment that pro athlets care more about the ring then the money, is obsured with the exeption of the new england patriots.

Re: Remaining Top FAs: Where will they go?
law aint ever going to be a redskin. he probably goes to seattle or KC.
collins wants a place where he can start. he won't go to the ravens, tennesse doesn't need him with volek... buffalo would be the best fit, since they have NO ONE, but being a backup for the texans might also make sense. i wished we had signed mitchell (he was the best OL we brought in this offseason, and a true starter). He might end up back with carolina for a year. plummer... KC maybe, SD? boston probably sits out. He's a suspension/injury waiting to happen. I would put jamie sharper above david boston, though he may very well be done now. |

Re: Remaining Top FAs: Where will they go?
Law won't sign with the skins because his agents are the poston brothers and his name is to big to fit are profile. He'll land in KC. Plummer if he doesn't retire cause of injuries should come here at 6 feer 191 pounds he could be a perfect fit for us in the slot and being in the slot position would lessen the load on his shoulders, so that he can become healthy. Boston will retire or sign with the dolphins agian for vet min. Collins is waiting on what McNair will do to figure out what team he'll go to. As for Boulware maybe he'll sign with the seahawks to play with his brother or stay with the ravens I don't know if he would make the cut in washington
