Jimmy Smith to Retire

http://x.go.com/cgi/x.pl?goto=http:/...051114&srvc=sz

I always thought he was very underappreciated when talking about the best receivers in the game.

Re: Jimmy Smith to Retire

Big hit to the Jags IMO. Absolutely one of the most underrated WRs in the league over the last 10 years.

Yup, if I were to be listing names, I definitely would forget to put him on the list.

Speaking of fantasy, I'm getting Portis on mine early.

I can honestly say that he has never been on any of my fantasy teams, and for that matter, not even on my radar to be drafted. I already forgot, who we talking about?

Re: Jimmy Smith to Retire

Its funny how he and McCardell ended up in Jacksonville.

We didnt have room for McCardell and he went to the browns for a few seasons.

Dallas gave up on smith after two years of not playing in a game.(THANK GOD!)

Could you imagine Smith, Irvin and harper?

Re: Jimmy Smith to Retire

I don't want to hear smith and HOF in the same sentence until Monk gets in.

Monk I believe is still 4th only behind Rice, Carter, and Brown. I'm doing that off memory, so correct me if im wrong.

Re: Jimmy Smith to Retire

You are wrong Monk is currently 5th and soon to be 6th.
Jerry Rice - 1549
Cris Carter - 1101
Tim Brown - 1094
Andre Reed - 951
Art Monk - 940
Marvin Harrison - 927
Jimmy Smith - 862

The next active WR is Keenan McCardell with 825
