Casserly Gone from Texans

Is Casserly the fall guy or did he put this team in the position it is in the bottom of the barrell in the NFL? Passing on Bush must have been the final straw.

Fall guy. Bush won't ever be anything except slightly above average.

Maybe Bush wont pan out, but Mario Williams? should have never wasted the #1 on him, they should have traded down if they didnt want Bush. Then again who doesnt love some nice bush?

Re: Casserly Gone from Texans

I definitely agree there. I wouldn't have taken him #1. I would have traded that pick to the Jets, gotten D'Brick and enjoyed that nice 2nd or 3rd rounder they would have gotten from the Jets.

Re: Casserly Gone from Texans

I thought there was some talk of him stepping down prior to the draft.

I don't think this is a result of what happened in the draft.

Right, well it shouldn't be because I wouldn't think he was the end-all say of who they took int he draft.

Re: Casserly Gone from Texans

Casserly was fired because he is a terrible GM. He was bad here and was horrible with Texans. Part of the reason why the Texans suck is because thye have no talent. They have no talent cause Casserly's draft picks and free agent pickups have been horrible.

Wait 'til they get a load of me.

The Skins are going to eat him alive just like they did EVERY rookie running back the past two years.

JJ layed on his back quicker than when BSB meets girls for the first time.

I also don't remember Mr. Cadillac ripping off ANY big runs against us. I just remember Big Joe stuffing him, then lifting his leg as though he were a huge dog and peeing on him.

Casserly didn't draft Williams. Kubiak did. Casserly was reportedly a huge Bush fan and wanted him. This was in the works since before the draft.
