Just Finished Watching Another Classic Skins-giants Matchup

was watching skins giants game from 81,week 11,joe washington was the starting rb,i was like wheres riggins?they alternated a lot, guess gibbs hadnt decided that riggins was the man yet, little joe had 916 yrd that yr compared to riggins 714,little joe was elusive but he was so small he was easy to tackle.giants had simms start but the got knocked out in the 4th qtr,we had a 24-20 lead but scott brunner threw a 28 yrd td pass to put them ahead with 58 seconds left, then the giants kicker kicked a squib kick that frickin daryl grant returned 20 yrds!i couldnt believe how fast a 270 pnd def lineman looked.we get down to the 40 yrd line with 6 sseconds left and in comes mosely to kick a 49 yarder against the wing,he was 1 for 3 before the kick, making a 25 yrder but badly missing 2 other longer kicks against the wind, but he nails the 49 yarder straight down the middle, would have been good from 55,we hold the giants in ot and mosley comes in and nails another 49 yarder against the wind. One interesting thing was the giants kick returner was alvin garret, who of course later starred for us as a smurf,he had a few good runbacks and had an awesome tackle on mike nelms on a punt

grant in his day played around 300lbs.he and dave butz were probably the best run stuffing tackles the skins ever had.

Man, I would be willing to pay for DVD's to get some of those old games. Is the quality very good? Can I mail you a DVD RW or something?

Re: Just Finished Watching Another Classic Skins-giants Matchup

I started last season dvd-ing all the redskins victories. I only do the wins as of now because I usually DVR them, then go back and edit out the commericals. I can't stand the pain of having to go back through a loss. I also did just about every playoff game from the 04 season, and then the 05 season including both superbowls. Its nice to have the ability to go back and watch some film.
