Defense no question. May be less flashy, but will give you more chances to score by putting the ball back in our hands.

are we taking yardage wise or scoring? cuz being a yardage leader doesn't mean as much as a scoring leader. i'd settle for either one being ranked high again, but since i see us having both sides fairly high ranked, i don't think there'll be anyone complaining, or atleast not as much, about either side of our team this year.

It depends where the other one is. If we're polar opposites, defense. If we have mediocre one side, great the other. GIve me an offense. Even the greatest defenses get run down when they're on the field for 3 quarters.

The last three SB winners had D!
The Patsies (2 SB) and the Bucs were both Defensive oriented!

both the pats and tampa had a pretty good offense, too. Neither team really had a good running game but had a decent passing game to win the superbowl.

Yeah, theres only a handful of teams that win the Superbowl because of their Offense's. Defense, please.

I will defer to Gibbs who said at the draft day party - "Defense leads you to the Superbowl".

exactly, you can't have tit without tat. You need both in order to win.

The "greatest show on turf" was the last totally offensive oriented team to win the SB. I think a great defense gives you a better chance to be successful; however, there's nothing like watching your team light it up on offense!

We win with defense and power running, but defense first.

our offense is gonna be in the top five this season(i'd love it if gibbs could get the season scoring record back for us) and our defense will be in the top 12 so we'll be all good on both sides of the ball. plus a good offense can make an above average defense turn into a good defense.
