Portis Interview on ESPNEWS
I dont know if anybody else saw this, but it was pretty good
-He said how he's never been on a team with this much offensive fire power -The redskins fans are more passionate than denver and denver didnt understand his character -He's shooting for 10 yards per carry this year -He also said he might hit Roy Williams over the head with a golf club at the golf tournament and if he does, it was by accident He probably said some other crap but i dont remember |

Re: Portis Interview on ESPNEWS
that is awesome. He is the new face of the team. In with the new and out with the old. Hit williams with a golf club, that is awesome. I wish all of our players actually hated the cowboy. Like really hated them. I know cooley dislikes them strongly but i don't know how many actually HATE the cowboys. I know they are friends with the other players so I don't expect them to hate them but the cowboys in general. 10 yards a carry, portis is a riot.

Re: Portis Interview on ESPNEWS
nothing like hatred for the cowboys.i started being a skins fan in 1969,and back in those days,if you like the redskins,it was just a natural thing to HATE the cowboys.todays game, with the money and business part of it took alot of the emotion out.back then nobody would give a rats ass if someone from the other team got injured.today everyones much too cozy

Re: Portis Interview on ESPNEWS
CP is amazing, not just his running skills, but his overall hussle. Hes a true Redskin, a great team player, and I really hope he retires a Skin. I think of this next year as his first as a real real Redskin, as it will be his third year as a Skin vs the two he played in Denver. Seems weird but until now he has been the running back we aquired from Denver, now he will be OUR running back, and I hope he has a tremendous season in 2006!

When I see people in the most powerful city in the world wearing Cowboys jackets, I want to kick them in the stomach.
The tide has turned and half of them will have a Sean Taylor jersey in five years. |

Saunders turned Priest Holmes into a rushing title (LarryJohnson 100 some odd yards shy) and Portis will win the NFC rushing title this year. If he doesn't I will kick the first cowboy fan I see in the stomach.

10 yards a carry. I love it. If anyone can do it, it's Portis with the new WRs to spread out the defense.
I hope to be hearing about a golfing "accident" soon. |

Re: Portis Interview on ESPNEWS
5 yards a carry would just fine by me, but Clinton's passing TD's will go down, they will give that to Randle El this year. Sorry Clinton!

Re: Portis Interview on ESPNEWS
There is a good chance of having more than one number one offensive perfomer this year!
