Howard Bryant, of the Washington Post, reports the Washington Redskins have contacted free agent CB Jamar Fletcher (Chargers), but they have yet to plan a visit with him. He has drawn interest from other teams as well.

Howard Bryant, of the Washington Post, reports the Washington Redskins have contacted free agent LB Sam Cowart (Vikings), but they have yet to plan a visit with him. According to his agent, Paul Healy, Cowart was in Houston visiting the Houston Texans.

Howard Bryant, of the Washington Post, reports free agent OL Jonathan Goodwin (Jets) arrived in Washington to meet with the Washington Redskins. So far no agreement has been reached, according to his agent. Goodwin's agent, Fletcher Smith, said Goodwin arrived at early Monday evening, March 20, and was expected to spend time with the coaches Tuesday, March 21.

Howard Bryant, of the Washington Post, reports the Washington Redskins have not come to terms on a new contract with newly acquired WR Brandon Lloyd. Lloyd is under contract to play this season at his tendered salary of $1.57 million, but without a new deal would be a free agent at the end of the season.

Saints | Team visits with D. Evans

Howard Bryant, of the Washington Post, reports the New Orleans Saints visited with free agent DE Demetric Evans (Redskins) Monday, March 20. He has at least one more visit planned.



Goodwin is a backup C for the Jets (starter since Mawae left), and fletcher is the 4th corner for the charger, but would be a good #3.

so we've contacted four LBs (peterson - not seriously, cowhart (old MIN MLB), adams (PHI OLB), and Adoyele (JAC, now DAL OLB).

thanks, this problem has been already noted in the upgrade thread and it's being worked on.
