Wizards Game!!!

Aside from the fact that as I type this the Wizards are somehow killing the Pistons 81-67, I still have no idea whats going on in terms of the courtship of our Free Agents. Being that most of you guys live in the area, I was hoping that maybe you could update out of town fans like me. If not, sorry in advance for starting another pointless thread.

Have they shown Archuleta, Randle-El, and Carter? They are supposed to be at that game.

wiz up 25 points with under 5 minutes. They are going to win this. Great game and great job Wiz. The played their hearts out against the heat a few days ago. they are playing well now. THey have been losing games at the end of the games but they might ride the high from this game for a while.

Hopefully this will show our prospective Redskins that the Washington area cares about it sports.

Re: Wizards Game!!!

The wizard fans, however, are not great fans in my opinion. I don't know how they compare to the rest of the NBA but the are nothing compared to redskin fans. They were doing the YMCA dance with 6 seconds to go in a game they were going to lose last week which was a complete heart breaker. They dropped like a 15 point lead in the 4th and yet the fans seemed not to care...

Probably people like me who aren't Wiz fans. I'm a Bullets fan. Always have been, always will be.

When you spend your formative years watching the likes of Jeff Malone, Bernard King, Ledell Eackles, and John "Hot Fudge" Williams (oh, did I forget "Dinner Bell" Mel Turpin?) play their hearts out every night and lose to mediocre teams like the Nuggets or the Clippers, well, you learn how to have fun watching your team lose.

Hell, even Proctor and Chenier seemed like they were just used to it. It was part of the ritual.

I think that's all around the league....especially in regular season. The loudest I've heard a stadium was Game 7 of the NBA Finals last year when San Antonio rallied to eventually beat the Pistons.

could be. THat is one reason the season shouldn't be extended in the NFL. Every game should matter, each and every. When they stop mattering tahat is when it gets bad. People should cry when their team loses.
