Will our playbook change drastically to resemble KCs? It's always tough using another teams playbook because you don't know what plays you have to take advantage of in certain situations.

Re: Al Saunders

I hope we use Saunder's playbook... He always seems to get tons of receiving yards for no name receivers. That also makes me feel more comfortable about any possible free agent WR sigings. I know Saunders will make the best of it.

Re: Al Saunders

i generally use the steelers. FB PA pass (I form normal), a qb can run for 10-30yards a pop on all madden. putting up 400 rushing yards with vick or whoever is super easy.

Re: Al Saunders

I've been trying KC's offense but I just can't get used to it, guess I've just been playing with the Skins' offense so long.

I haven't tried Al's playbook yet... I don't really even used Gibbs' *gasp* playbook... I set it as "Balanced & Cover 2"... lol

Re: Al Saunders

I went from Gibbs to Shanahans playbook (real good by the way). I just started using KC playbook, and like Matty said it is hard to get used to.

The cool thing about the KC playbook is that it has the flea flicker.

Re: Al Saunders

pittsburg has the HB option pass and some good QB scrambling pass plays.

the vikings have mot of the good denver running plays, but with better pasing options.

It's funny isn't it. I can really attack the defense with Gibbs playbook since I've used it for so long. Not true with KC's though. KC's playbook on Madden '04-'05 was really good though. Hopefully the great minds over at EA will come up with the best of both worlds. I just want to get Cooley, Fauria, and Sellers on the field at the same time...

Re: Al Saunders

for some reason in 06 i like jim hasletts playbook... it has a lot of good running plays but then also a handful of really good PA plays where you can go over the top to Santana burning his conerback

Re: Al Saunders

This isn't really about playbooks, but I've noticed a weird glitch on Madden 06 for PS2 that I've been meaning to see if anyone else has...

If I'm beating the computer by a lot and they get a trash TD late in the game, the first play after I return the kick frequently has ETHAN ALBRIGHT lined up as a receiver. I obviously always throw to the Red Snapper, and he almost always makes the catch. He's slower than dirt so he doesn't get very far, but it's really funny. Has anyone else ever seen anything like that?

If I'm playing against the computer and they have numerous injuries on the OL, I've seen the punter line up as a Guard. Oh, sweet blitzy-ma-blitzy!

lol the only time i've seen the punter on offense was when he played quarterback because the others were injured. It's pretty cool.
