Cross Off Kampman

Packers | Team re-signs Kampman
Fri, 10 Mar 2006 19:13:19 -0800

<A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/17">Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the Green Bay Packers have re-signed free agent DL Aaron Kampman to a long-term contract extension. Details of the contract were not disclosed, but sources said the finances of the deal were more than sufficient for Kampman to skip free agency.

THAT SUCKS

Re: Cross Off Kampman

GB has plenty of cap room, they should be big players in free agency.

not really. he is a nice player, but similar to wynn. we are going after andre carter who fits our needs better. then we will sign rocky bernard or koenomatu (sp?) for the middle.. besides, as long as he doesn't go to the nfc east, who cares where kampman signs..

Did I say "Who" or "Who cares". Either one works.

similar to wynn?

wynn - 30 tackles, 0.5 sacks
Kampman - 80+ tackles, 6.5 sacks.

kampman is a beast, GB did the smart thing, but bleh, that sucks.

Re: Cross Off Kampman

They had one of the worst defenses in the league. The guy probably played 40 minutes a game.
