i'm glad this is settled cuz i was worried they were kinda have to find replacements who probably couldn't do a job anywhere close what to the real voice actors do. of course i don't think they deserve the 8 million a year each that they wanted or even the close to 3 million they make now just to go into a studio and read your lines and be done within a few hours. anyone else think it's atleast one of the top 5 comedy shows of all time? It's no. 1 all-time on my list. The show is just brilliant. On the surface it's very funny. But then if you're aware of current events, pop culture, literature, etc. then the jokes are even funnier on so many levels.

The voices knew they had leverage in this deal. Everyone works for the cash, if you could significantly up your income, you would. As you can plainly see from Southpark, Cartman's voice keeps changing and I feel it hurts the character.

On one of the rehash shows, ya know - the ones hosted by Troy McClure where they go through past episodes, they asked the same question and then showed it in slow motion. I think it said "Homer"

On the Season 1 DVD, Matt Groening says it reads $847.63, which was apparently the price of raising a baby per month back when the show debuted

I have friends that are a bit too into the Simpsons. One has Barney's phone number memorized.

Wow, I thought I was a Simpsons fanatic but I can't compete with anyone who knows Barney's phone number

I like the Simpsons even though I rarely watch it anymore. I dunno, it's one of those things, when I do watch it I love it, but I just don't make time to watch it.
Back in my college days though it was a nightly ritual to sit down and watch the Simpsons from 6-7 with everybody. |
