Spreading "thewarpath.net" Word

I'm sure Mattyk72 or one of the guys will move this but I thought this the best place to talk about this.

Do you tell people abot thewarpath.net?

I do all the time if I am talking to another interested Redskins fan. I wonder how many of those millions of folks ever visited here? One!

My wife and I were at a "Steakhouse and Sports Theater" bar in Lake Ridge Va before the end of the season. We're wearing our Skins stuff and so is a bartender so we get talking about the Skin's chances and all. I told him of thewarpath.net and he jotted it down.

We've been back a few times this last month or so but the other night we sat at the bar and there was the bartender. We got talking Skins again and I asked him if he checked out theWP and he repied "Oh, yer the guy that told me about the place. Yes, I joined and read every day."

I told him I was SBF and he said he read many of mine and that his name was DantheSkinsFan and had even played our Pools. I had seen his name and read a few of his posts tho he says he reads more than posts.

lol

There we were, warpath brothers. But he still charged me full price. lol!!!

Great bartender, smart Skins fan and now new friend.

Do you guys spread the word about the site? I guess I do because I live near the team and forget many of ya'll are from other areas.

Hail Skins!

Re: Spreading "thewarpath.net" Word

I think I spread the word by surfing the site quite often at work. I'm sure my boss probably doesn't care for that, but there are days where there is nothing for me to do...so I usually do some programming in my spare time, but surf this site as much as possible!

I think Matty and I represent over at ES for with the banner for here that I ripped off of him (thanks Matty ). I might consider removing it if we get too many defectors that'll post ridiculous threads and posts.

Long ago I swore I'd never wear anything with a website on it, but I'd consider some WP.net gear.

I regularly wear my warpath.net long sleeve T to the gym in Thousand Oaks, partly for the site exposure, partly because one of the other members is an Ex-Dallarse player.

I got some TheWarpath.net gear

One time I was wearing the shirt, and some clown said "Hey I love Florida State too...Go Seminoles"

Another time, people started booing me (rather loudly) as I got on the train. Couldn't understand why until one of them said "How could you support the war? It's built on nothing but lies" Turns out they had just returned from an anti-war rally in Washington, DC and thought that "TheWarpath.net" was some sort of pro-war slogan.

Re: Spreading "thewarpath.net" Word

DantheSkinsFan said it best when he said back to me....

"I have to check the place evereyday"

I 100% agree.
There's only 1 other site on the whole internet that I check and read everyday and most times MANY times a day that that's my own. Great site guys!

That's just priceless! I had some thoughts on this but I don't want to venture into politics and get myself in trouble.

Re: Spreading "thewarpath.net" Word

well, i go to a lot of nfl in general websites, and a lot of opposing teams websites, and whenever i hear them trash talk the skins, they usually include extremeskins in it (BSB you know what i'm talking about at the concrete field forums, they bash ES all the time and those articles that Art writes) but whenever they do, i usually tell them that i go here, and it's not full of homers and full of very knowledgeable discussion.
